About Sree Krishna College
Established in 1964, Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur was founded to fulfil the local community’s dream of a premier institution of higher learning. Over time it has grown into a beacon of academic excellence and social commitment, blending traditional values with modern educational practices.

Sree Krishna College was inaugurated on 18th July 1964, beginning its journey in higher education. The college moved to its current campus at Ariyannur in 1967 with degree programs in arts and science. Since then, it has steadily expanded its programs, infrastructure, and research centers. It achieved its first postgraduate course in Botany in 1984 and has continued to evolve, earning NAAC accreditation and establishing itself as a key institution in Kerala’s educational landscape.
